Vancouvergram || Day 20

As my time in Vancouver all too quickly comes to a close, I thought I would share with you photos from the last couple of weeks. I've been busy trying to explore this city as much as I can and I've managed to stumble across a lot of amazing places! One of the things I love most about the city is its architecture. Whether it's art or just a nice nook of benches hidden amongst trees, there's always a beautiful spot to see or drink coffee in.

November 19th: I saw Lights in concert and had such an awesome time. I've loved her music for years and was so happy to be able to see her live for a second time (I hope you enjoy the little clip from the concert that I uploaded)!

November 20th: I was able to visit the opening of the When Sky Was Sea exhibit at the CAG (Contemporary Art Gallery of Vancouver). It was an interesting exhibit that also featured a photo-based retelling of other installations done by Japanese artist Shimabuku.

November 27th: I decided to visit Chinatown and came across a beautiful Chinese garden. There was a one-hour tour filled with so many interesting anecdotes about the garden and Chinese culture, it was definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

November 28th: I braved the crowds for Black Friday and went shopping at Topshop, I managed to pick up quite a few rings to add to my ever-growing jewelry collection (I've done some shopping while I've been here so let me know if you'd like to see a haul from my time in Vancouver).

Other days were filled with things like eating breakfast by the water, visiting the Ayden Gallery, shopping at Canada's largest Sephora, nomming on poutine, seeing Interstellar, and trying macarons for the first time (yum!). ♥

I hope that you've all be doing well, I can't believe how fast time has flown by. I'll be heading back home in a few days and am looking forward to getting into the Christmas spirit!

Take care, weekenders.

x Jenn

  2. I love how you edit your pics, really sets the mood and feel :) And man, you're making me want to head to Vancouver. Really enjoying these posts. Black Friday and Topshop in the same sentence makes me want to shoot off in the other direction - I'm such a worshipper of Topshop but I can only imagine the craze. And what did you think of Interstellar? (Sounds like a must-watch from everything I've heard!)
