New Year & Liebster Award

Hello Weekenders !!

I hope you've all had a lovely holiday. It's great to be back, I've missed you all! Every January people all over the world make a list of their New Year's Resolutions — myself included — but this year I came across a thought that I'd like to share. 2015 can be the year that you accomplish ____ or face ____ but what's most important is that you go at your own pace. Don't try to rush it, okay? You've got the entire year and even if you alter something small each day or once a week, by the end of 2015 it'll amount to so much. I think it's so easy to get caught up in living a different, "perfect" life by the end of the first week in January and when we realize that things can't change overnight we become disheartened. Here's to taking things one step at a time; here's to a great year full of new memories, challenges and goals!

What do you miss most about being a kid?

Probably the ability to see things so simply and straight-forward.

What is your favourite quote?

I've got so many that I really love so I'll give my top three. "Strength comes after fear." & "The most beautiful things in life don't ask for attention." & "Not everyone will understand your journey, they're not supposed to, it's not for them." 

What is your favourite scent?

For perfumes I love scents that smell of a mix between sugar and cotton candy. For scents in general, I absolutely love the smell of burning fire wood! Whenever I go outside in the winter and smell that in the air I always stop to smile and appreciate it. 

What movie is your all time favourite?

It's impossible for me to decide so I'm gonna list some: The Holiday, Memento, The Princess Bride, The Grand Budapest Hotel.

 What is your most wanted item at the moment?

I'm not sure, really. I'm sort of going through a phase where I don't really want new things. I've been focusing on the things I already have and de-cluttering my life. 

What is the weirdest thing you've ever dreamed?

Last night I dreamed that I was a ghost and I was reunited with my sister that was also a ghost. The weirdest thing wasn't even that we were ghosts but that I don't actually even have a sister. #Weird

 What is your guiltiest guilty pleasure?

Binge watching things on Netflix. I'm so guilty of this. 

What qualities do you look for in friends?

 Someone that is trustworthy, loves to laugh and doesn't take life too seriously.
